‘Baikal’ Water Mist Spray Units
Baikal' water mist spray unit is a fire extinguishing device that consists of a stamp-welded stainless steel cylinder with a lock-start gear having a sprinkler with a thermal lock and electrical actuation. The cylinder is filled with a liquid fire extinguishing agent.
Baikal' water mist spray units are the only fire suppression units of a suspended type utilizing water mist technology that is compliant with all GOST R 53288-2009 requirements!
Baikal' water mist spray units are designed to protect industrial and household premises. They are used in transport and in households for suppression of Class A fires (solid flammable substances), Class B fires (liquid flammable substances), Class C fires (gas fires) and Class E fires (elimination of fires that originated from live electrical sources with a voltage up to 1000 V), as well as fires in cable structures, transport tunnels, gas stations, aircraft hangars, parking lots, power transformers, in underground mines and their ground-based buildings.
Baikal' water mist spray units are not designed for extinguishing fires of substances that come into reaction with water (alkaline and alkaline-earth metals), as well as substances that can burn in absence of air.
Units are activated by fire extinguishing systems control and start devices or by the burst of the thermal lock when the temperature threshold is exceeded in the area protected by the sprinkler.
Once the unit is activated, the pressurized fire extinguishing agent is discharged into the fire location area through the sprinkler.
Baikal' water mist spray units are produced in the following variety of capacities: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20, 23, 26, 30 litres (special design is possible according to the specifications requested by the customer.)
